World hepatitis Day 2023 was celebrated with full enthusiasm on 28th July. “One life, one Liver”.The brief session for health care professionals was organized at the conference hall of regional hospital Keylong by State Health Department. The session was chaired by Dr. Roshan Lal (CMO, RH Keylong). All medical officers, staff nurses, telemedicine staff, NHM staff and ICMR staff attended the session and Dr. Raj Kumar (Distt Program Officer RH Keylong) presented the overview of the hepatitis and disease Burden in the State. Dr. Tanuja Mishra (Sci-C & OIC FS Keylong) briefed about the relevance of the celebration of world hepatitis day, in her lecture and proposed collaborative effort of ICMR and State health professional to eliminate hepatitis from Lahaul and spiti district of Himachal Pradesh.
