World Hepatitis day 2022 was celebrated with full enthusiasm at field station Keylong.
The brief session for health care professionals was organized at the conference hall, the hospital building in collaboration with state health authorities (Regional Hospital Keylong). The session was started by Dr, Ranjit Vaid (Distt. Programming Officer)Keylong and Dr. Tanuja Mishra Sci-C FS Keylong briefed about the relevance of the celebration of world hepatitis day, types of hepatitis, its burden, symptoms, and the role of ICMR-RMRC FS Keylong in screening, mass vaccination and elimination of the diseases from Lahaul and Spiti. Also, an awareness campaign among the community was conducted in the villages Keylong, Tandi, Biling of Lahaul block.
